FAQs
ABOUT US
-
We provide comprehensive service for fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, standpipe systems, Regulation 4 testing and private water mains. Our team supports everything from inspections and testing to repairs, upgrades and full system maintenance.
-
Yes. We are on call 24/7 with no exceptions. If a system fails, a valve leaks or a pump goes down, our technicians are available to respond and restore system performance as quickly as possible.
-
We combine highly experienced sprinkler fitters, deep local AHJ knowledge and the proven systems and training of TRL Systems. That means faster response, clearer communication and solutions that are both code-compliant and practical.
SERVICES
-
We do both. We design, install, inspect, test, maintain, repair and upgrade fire protection systems. Whether you need a new system or service on an existing one, we can support the full lifecycle.
-
Yes. Every service we perform is documented clearly and in accordance with NFPA standards and local AHJ requirements. We provide reports that support inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance.
-
Absolutely. We work with single-site owners, property managers and multi-building portfolios, providing consistent service and centralized communication.
FIRE PUMPS
-
Fire pumps provide the pressure and flow needed for sprinklers and standpipes to operate properly, especially in taller buildings. Without them, systems may not deliver enough water during a fire.
-
Fire pumps require regular inspection, testing and maintenance under NFPA standards and local codes to verify proper operation and compliance.
-
Yes. We offer 24/7 on-call fire pump service for failures, alarms, pressure issues, and urgent repairs.
-
Yes. We provide fire pump inspection, testing, repair, replacement and 24/7 emergency service.
STANDPIPE SYSTEMS
-
These classes define how standpipe systems are configured and used by firefighters and building occupants. We service all three types.
-
Yes. Standpipe systems must be inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with NFPA and local code requirements to remain compliant and operational.
-
Yes. All standpipe services are fully documented, including deficiencies and corrective actions.
-
Yes. We provide inspection, testing, repair and upgrades for all standpipe systems.
FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
-
We service wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems across commercial, residential and special-use facilities.
-
Yes. We provide inspections, modifications, labeling and system adjustments when tenants move in or out or when spaces are reconfigured.
-
Our technicians understand risers, valves, piping layouts, spare heads, and shut-offs, allowing them to quickly locate problems and apply the correct fix without guesswork.
-
All of our fire sprinkler services comply with NFPA 13, 14 and 25 standards and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
FIRE HYDRANTS
-
NFPA 291 requires fire hydrants to be flow-tested at least every five years or more frequently if required by the local authority.
-
We evaluate hydrant condition, pressure and flow performance and provide full documentation of results and any deficiencies.
-
Proper hydrant performance ensures adequate water supply for firefighting and helps protect the public water system from contamination or pressure loss.
-
Fire hydrant testing includes measuring water flow, pressure, mechanical condition and documenting performance.
PRIVATE WATER MAINS
-
A private water main is the underground piping that supplies water to fire sprinklers, hydrants and standpipe systems.
-
Signs include leaks, pressure loss, sinkholes or failed fire system tests. We can locate and diagnose underground failures.
-
Yes. We work with AHJs and water authorities to ensure all repairs are inspected, approved and documented.
REGULATION 4 (REG 4)
-
Regulation 4 is a Los Angeles Fire Department requirement that mandates regular testing and certification of fire protection systems.
-
The LAFD can issue fines, enforcement actions or even require shutdowns until deficiencies are corrected and approved.
-
Yes. We perform all required testing, documentation and reporting to meet LAFD Reg 4 requirements.
SERVICE REQUESTS
-
For emergencies, we provide 24/7 response. For scheduled services, we work quickly to coordinate inspections and service windows.
